But oh so good for the soul xD I went to the Galleria on Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday with my sister and Chris, and Friday with my cousin.
4 new t-shirts, a new pair of pants, tons of earrings, a new messenger bag, tea light oils, hand cream and bathroom hand soap, music and movies! I am most excited about the T-shirts because one of them i’ve wanted for ages, just never had the money at the right time. Granted I would have preferred a shirt from Reise, Reise, not Lichtspielhaus… but hey, i’ll take what i can get xD If you havent figured it out yet, Katie got a Rammstein shirt finally!

My new Nightwish shirt (i should have bought it off of Hottopic.com though because they have the Dark Passion Play shirt!)

all in all. Spring Break. Thats all i can say xD
Why, i do not know. but she does. Joe and I are content. He is happy in his job. he works hard, and gets rewarded (a lot). He has so much room for moving up, so much his supervisor is demanding he apply for Mod, Sup, or commercial. The only one that doesnt give a pay raise is commercial. The point being is he is H.A.P.P.Y. For once. He is encouraged and bouncy, and ready to go to work. He doest dread it like he used to at CompUSA.
So why does MIL and FIL (mother and father in law) think he needs to get a ‘better’ job. We just want them to BUTT out of our lives. D< Heres the letter she sent Joe:
Dear Joe -
I’ve always admired your self-directed learning style, the knowledge and skills you’ve aquired on your own, and you willingness to help anyone you can with their computer problems. You deserve the best! And you owe it to yourself and Katie to be justly compensated for the work you do.
You are well qualified for the jobs Dad told you about with the Federal Government. They’re local, pay $50-60,000 / yr. with full benifits, and don’t even require a college degree. This could be a great opportunity.
But Dad says he still hasn’t received a copy of your resume. Did you send it? If not, and you’re sincerely interested in the jobs Dad told you about, please e-mail it to _____________ right away.
Love ya! Mom
back that train up lady! Whats this about “owing it to ourselves” We are content. we make enough money. Besides… to be quite honest, Joe hates fixing computers unless they are his. Because he was forced to do it so much because of you MIL. He wasnt willing to fix them when he lived with you, you dumped the work ON him. “My computer isnt working” says some random family friend. “My son can fix it!!!1″ she would say, with out even consulting Joe.
And WHY in the nine levels of hell am I being mentioned. Joe does not owe me in any way shape or form! He is my husband and i love him dearly, just as he loves me dearly, that is enough compensation in my book. We dont need to be making $50-$60 grand a year (while it does sound nice), we are content with what we do make. Joe does not want to get this job mainly because we know FIL is pulling strings trying to get it for us, and we would be forced to see them more. They are freaks. Neither of us want a job where we know it was obtained just by being related to someone. Joe likes the challenge of TW, and he is happy there!
In other words MIL: Back the fuck off.
Do not let the 60* weather fool you… theres apparently a winter storm heading this way xD
I went to my first Sabres game, ever, last night. I had so much fun, despite the fact that we lost D: We played hard, and thats all i care about :3
I am in a lot of pain now though. i could barely talk this morning D: and now i can barely walk xD
